Here come the players into some swirling east mids rain. A decent crowd in by the sounds of it for this one.

England head coach John Mitchell on starting Marlie Packer in the back row: "At no stage has losing the captaincy altered her desire to contribute to the group.

"This is a very athletic selection, she's one of the more experienced players who will put her head in the spokes to carry the team forward."

John Mitchell doesn't have any issues changing the squad for whatever game he's facing because he's got complete confidence in his players.

England have made nine changes for this game with Holly Aitchison the third different player to start at 10 in the tournament so far.

    Strength in depth.

I've been watching England head coach John Mitchell during the warm-up.

He has hardly been involved and is very much observing from afar.

Plenty of trust in assistant coaches Lou Meadows and Louis Deacon to prepare the team.

    Handy commute!

No bus was needed as fans made a tunnel from England's hotel, which is connected to the Mattioli Woods Welford Road Stadium via a red bridge, for the players and coaching staff to all to walk through.

Ellie Kildunne made sure to high five as many fans as she could, while John Mitchell looked so calm - as always!

Some kept their headphones on and marched through, others made sure to embrace their fans.

I am a rather small bloke so couldn't see above a lot of the heads, I did spot former Leicester Tigers lock Louis Deacon, who is 6ft 6in and is England's forwards coach, as he towered above most.

A nice day for him at his old stomping ground.

England’s full-back Ellie Kildunne is the top try-scorer in the Women’s Six Nations this year with four despite playing just 163 minutes. She has also registered the most carry metres of any player this campaign (352).

There is some terrific fan art on display outside the stadium.

Members from Tamworth RUFC took hours, I was told, to make this one.

Leicester native Emily Scarratt, who is on the bench today, was the favourite in this one.

"Our Scaz has all the Pizzazz!" Is the message to the 117-cap centre.

England have won 54 of their 57 home matches in the Women’s Six Nations, including their last 22 in a row.

The only side to beat them on home soil is France (2015, 2013, 2005).

Three comfortable bonus-point wins, 34 players used, and a winning run that now spans 23 games.

You can see why suggestions have been made that England are in need of a proper test before a home Rugby World Cup starts in August.

Having not lost against Scotland since 1999, today's game in Leicester looks like another routine five points to set up a Women's Six Nations Grand Slam-decider against France at Allianz Stadium on 26 April.

    Or is it?
