Summary

  1. Postpublished at 64 mins

    Glasgow Warriors 38-12 Leicester Tigers

There's a lot more errors that have creeped into this game in the past few minutes.

As Fraser Brown says, the replacements getting up to the speed of the game doesn't help in that regard.

  2. Glasgow 'intensity dropped through the floor'published at 59 mins

    Fraser Brown
Former Scotland hooker on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

Glasgow have unloaded their bench and the intensity has dropped through the floor.

Little chip kicks on the 22m, trying things off the cuff, that's not what we saw them doing in the first half.

They are thinking of doing things off the cuff and a good team, like Leicester, will come straight back into the game.

  3. 'Gutting' for Leicesterpublished at 21:28 British Summer Time 5 April

    Glasgow Warriors 38-12 Leicester Tigers

    Tom Varndell
Former England and Leicester wing on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

Freddie Steward has done so well, it's the first break we've seen him make.

    That is gutting.

  4. Postpublished at 59 mins

    Glasgow Warriors 38-12 Leicester Tigers

What a chance for Dan Kelly and Leicester.

England full-back Freddie Steward gets past Tom Jordan's attempted tackle, but Dan Kelly inexplicably drops the ball with the try-line beckoning.

  5. converted try

Converted try Glasgow Warriors 38-12 LEICESTER TIGERSpublished at 57 mins

    Solomone Kata

    Leicester do fire a shot.

Solomone Kata runs a nice line and is put through a gap by a clever disguised pass.

He scores next to the posts but looks to have tweaked his groin in the process.

The conversion is good, but you sense Leicester are too far behind to stage a comeback.

  7. 'Leicester didn't have any answers'published at 52 mins

    Glasgow Warriors 38-5 Leicester Tigers

    Tom Varndell
Former England and Leicester wing on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

It's becoming a very long night, but fair play to Glasgow. That's how you do it.

They executed the restart, sucked in three or four defenders. Then the backs play... Leicester didn't have any answers.

    Fraser Brown
Former Scotland hooker on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

It would be the shock of the season if Leicester were to come back.

Glasgow are so on top. Every time they attack, they get gainline. They could score with any attack they have.

  9. converted try

Converted try GLASGOW WARRIORS 38-5 Leicester Tigerspublished at 52 mins

    George Horne

This is fast becoming a pasting.

Kyle Rowe goes through the gears with acres of open field in front of him and George Horne is in support to race under the posts.

It's absolutely awful from a Leicester perspective, but Glasgow are in dreamland as the conversion splits the posts.

  10. converted try

Converted try GLASGOW WARRIORS 31-5 Leicester Tigerspublished at 50 mins

    Adam Hastings

    That could well be that.

Freddie Steward does enough to stop Glasgow captain Kyle Steyn after the hosts found space down the right, but Leicester's defence is stretched and it's punished.

Adam Hastings goes straight through a hole to dot down and he converts his own try.

  11. Postpublished at 21:16 British Summer Time 5 April

    Glasgow Warriors 24-5 Leicester Tigers

    Fraser Brown
Former Scotland hooker on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

Nicky Smith has just folded in two there. That's the only way I can describe it.

Leicester have to start looking at their options on the bench, because every scrum is the same story.

  12. Postpublished at 49 mins

    Glasgow Warriors 24-5 Leicester Tigers

Zander Fagerson is dominating every single scrum and wins Glasgow another penalty.

  13. 'Vailanu try eases wind fears'published at 21:14 British Summer Time 5 April

    Glasgow 24-5 Leicester

    Andy Burke
BBC Sport Scotland at Scotstoun Stadium

Chatting to a few Glasgow fans at half-time, the nagging fear was that a 12-point cushion might not be enough before turning around to play into the wind in the second half.

That try from Vailanu will ease some of those fears. A perfect start to the half from Glasgow, but a nightmare for Leicester.

  16. converted try

Converted try GLASGOW WARRIORS 24-5 Leicester Tigerspublished at 42 mins

    Sione Vailanu

It's oh so easy for Glasgow.

Henco Venter picks off the back of a powerful scrum and is halted just short.

Sione Vailanu picks and goes though and there's no-one down the side of the ruck to stop him scoring his second try of the night and Glasgow's third.

    Adam Hastings adds the extras.

  17. Postpublished at 41 mins

    Glasgow Warriors 17-5 Leicester Tigers

A nightmare start to the second half for Leicester, who are still down to 14 players.

Olly Cracknell takes his eye off the restart, it goes straight through his hands and Glasgow force the Tigers back over their own line.

The home side have a scrum five metres out - big chance.

Glasgow have left so many points out there. They will be kicking themselves.

They are just forcing it a bit.
