Half-time - Scotland 9-19 South Africapublished at 16:55 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

What a breathless half of rugby.
Scotland will feel harshly treated by Scott Cummings' red card which left them down to 14 players for half of the opening period.
They also thought they'd got right back in it before Ben White's try was ruled out. The Springboks have been far from their best yet have scored three tries and lead by 10.
That will probably be the concern for Gregor Townsend.

Makazole Mapimpi
Too good!
A huge scrum is followed by a superb carry by centre Andre Esterhuizen. They play wide to Willie Le Roux who dinks a sublime chip into the arms of Mapimpi who grabs his second try.

Thomas Du Toit
Boks back in front.
It's actually a poor lineout which is almost out of reach for Franco Mostert. Fortunately for the green and gold jerseys it drops into Du Toit's hands and he squeezes through a gap to score his first international try.
Frantic stuff. Hearts were in mouths at Murrayfield there.
Scotland were turning the screw, but a phenomenal clear out from Lukanyho Am forces a turnover. Eventually down the other end Willie Le Roux grubbers through and it bounces over the sliding Tom Jordan.
Scotland's defence - opening few minutes aside - has been really impressive.
Hooker Ewan Ashman absolutely smashes Eben Etzebeth which kills South Africa's momentum. They go wide on the back foot and Canan Moodie spills the ball.
The general consensus is that might have been a rather harsh yellow card for Scott Cummings.
Scotland are doing ok at the moment, though. A Ben White box kick causes the Boks some bother, and then they get a scrum after a South Africa kick leads to a knock on.

Scotland 0-5 South Africa
Scott Cumming is penalised for a croc-roll at the ruck on South Africa lock Franco Mostert. Scotland are down to 14 men, the penalty is reversed and that will go under review by the officials in the bunker.
