  1. Missed penaltypublished at 56 mins

    La Rochelle 6-16 Leinster

Leinster are pinged at the scrum and it looks like a 'gimme' for Antoine Hastoy. However, his kick cannons off the post and into the chaos of open play below.

Replacement Jack Conan claims the ball but spills it forward giving the hosts another scrum inside the 22. Could this miss actually pay off for La Rochelle?

  2. try

Converted Try - Bristol 35-17 Benettonpublished at 58 mins

    Kieran Marmion (con Harry Byrne)

Kieran Marmion doubles his tally with a snipe down the short side.

Bristol put the hammer down at the line-out before it's popped off for Marmion to dive in at the corner for his second try.

Harry Byrne adds a good conversion from the touchline.

  3. Penalty - La Rochelle 6-16 Leinsterpublished at 16:35 Greenwich Mean Time

    Sam Prendergast - 55mins

Leinster get sloppy and are driven backwards from the 22 to the ten metre line. The home defence are like pack animals on the hunt but perhaps get too excited as Jules Favre is penalised for playing the ball on the ground.

The home crowd disagree but Sam Prendergast makes it four from four off the tee to keep the scoreboard ticking over. How crucial could his boot be today?

  4. Penalty - La Rochelle 6-13 Leinsterpublished at 16:31 Greenwich Mean Time

    Sam Prendergast - 50mins

La Rochelle concede a penalty at the scrum and then an offside closer to the posts so Leinster have the chance to get the tee out for an easier kick. Sam Prendergast gets the pitching wedge out and opens the lead up to seven.

The Leinster scrum has noticeably had the edge since the two starting La Rochelle props exited in the first half. Rabah Slimani has replaced Tadgh Furlong at tight head too for Leinster among other changes.

  5. try

Converted Try - Bristol 28-17 Benettonpublished at 52 mins

    Harry Thacker (con Harry Byrne)

    Bonus point in the bag.

Bristol move the ball quickly before Kieran Marmion changes the direction of attack.

Fitz Harding makes the break and offloads to Thacker to dot down under the posts.

Harry Byrne isn't missing the conversion from there.

    La Rochelle 6-10 Leinster

Everyone is getting a little hot under the collar to start the second half. Leinster are under defensive pressure again but win a scrum on their own line.

    Leinster clear.

This game has been a war of attrition and we have lost three of the four starting props before the break. Cian Healy left a while ago and Uini Atonio and Reda Wardi have also succumbed to injury.

    La Rochelle 6-10 Leinster

Antoine Hastoy has intercepted and gone the length of the pitch for a try... or has he? It looks as though Jack Nowell has knocked on though.

Nowell has indeed knocked on and, not only that, Hastoy was offside when he picked the ball up so it is a penalty to Leinster inside the 22.

The former England wing had tried to intercept a Sam Prendergast pass but Leinster survive that scare. However, they butcher the lineout and the hosts clear.
