    It's some game at Ashton Gate as both sides are looking to play with real intensity.

    Benetton are smart in possession and can feel unfortunate to be behind.

    What. a. Try! Leinster have soaked up a lot of pressure and the first time they enter the La Rochelle 22, they score!

    Sam Prendergast knocks a penalty into touch and they go with the high risk, high reward option of going over the top to Robbie Henshaw. He breaks the line and offloads to Ryan Baird. He pops it on to Jamie Osborne who puts second row Joe McCarthy in to the line with no white shirts in the vicinity.

    That is beautiful handling and Prendergast adds the extras to open up a four-point lead.

    Bristol 14-12 Benetton

    Former Bristol scrum-half Andy Uren thinks he has got one over his old teammates.

    The try is initially awarded before Uren is adjudged to have knocked the ball on at the breakdown before picking up and sniping over.

    Antoine Hastoy - 26mins

    Robbie Henshaw gets caught on the wrong side of the ruck and Hastoy was never going to miss from straight in front 25 metres out.

    The visitors trail again but, given the amount of pressure they have been under, perhaps they can live with three points.

    Leinster can't escape their own 22! They lose a lineout against the head and a gorgeous one-handed flick pass from UJ Seuteni threatens to put Jack Nowell in.

    However, a good tackle from Jordie Barrett holds him up and Caelan Doris strips it from his arms. Leinster have not even had a sniff of the opposition 22 yet and have been made to do a lot of defensive work. They are holding on for now.

    Benetton are not lying down here.

    The Italian side have looked slick with ball in hand and they make inroads deep inside Bristol territory again.

    They are hauled down just short of the line but Manuel Zuliani picks up to move round the short side and reach for the whitewash.

    Tomas Albornoz adds the extras and it's a two-point game.

    More footballing skills on show as Harry Byrne chips the ball over the Benetton defence for James Williams to clutch on to.

    The centre feeds his midfield partner Kalaveti Ravouvou, who knocks on, but it was clever from the hosts.

  8. La Rochelle 3-3 Leinster

    Huge defensive effort for Leinster! They have been under the cosh since Barrett was taken over his own line but have survived a couple of scrums, a penalty into the corner and seemingly endless phases driving the hosts back to the 22.

    Eventually, frustration shows for Ronan O'Gara's men as they enter the ruck from the side with Caelan Doris over the ball. The visitors have had very little ball and have been sent back to their own 22 with a beautiful Brice Dulin kick.

    Leinster have lost Cian Healy to injury as he is replaced by Andrew Porter.

    Bristol City would have been proud of that!

    Harry Thacker breaks through a tackle and drags his side forward before trying to offload the ball behind him.

    It's not the cleanest of passes but it falls beautifully for Kieran Marmion to hack through into open space.

    The scrum-half chases his own kick to score and Harry Byrne adds the conversion.

    Rhyno Smith

    Rhyno Smith hits back for Benetton but this is all about the pass.

    The visitors respond well to going behind and Tomas Albornoz double pumps to keep the Bristol defence guessing before throwing a delightful flat pass for Smith to run in.

    Albornoz misses the conversion but Benetton deserve their try.

    The boys in blue are under huge pressure! Sam Prendergast gets charged down before Antoine Hastoy puts a beautifully-weighted chip over the top that Jordie Barrett can't control.

    They kick again into the corner and Barrett does well to recover but he is driven over his own line for a five metre scrum for the hosts.

    The ruck area has been hotly-contested so far and La Rochelle go for the ball but illegally so according to Nika Amashukeli.

    Sam Prendergast finds his range off the tee and levels the score.

    You're not stopping James Williams from there.

    Bristol win the line-out before it breaks into midfield where Williams runs a powerful line to crash over under the posts.

    Harry Byrne adds the conversion and Bristol have their noses in front.

    It's an early blow for Bristol as Joe Batley departs with what looks like an ankle injury.

    Steele Barker is in on his place.

    Leinster's first meaningful attack comes to an end as the hulking Uini Atonio puts Jordie Barrett to ground and Gregory Alldritt does what he does best with a perfect jackal to win the penalty.

    The hosts in Leinster territory now but Ronan Kelleher returns the favour with a ruck penalty win of his own.

    The visitors are nearly in but James Williams puts in a big tackle to keep them out.

    Bristol stand firm in defence until Benetton throw a forward pass and the chance disappears.

    Antoine Hastoy - 4mins

    The hosts get the scoreboard ticking over as Leinster are pinged for straying offside. Hastoy won last week's game against Toulouse with a last-gasp kick and he strokes this one through from 40 metres.

    Benetton start brightly and Tommaso Menoncello is straight into the thick of things with a powerful run.

    The centre drives Harry Byrne backwards in a fierce collision.
