    Benetton 12-6 Edinburgh

Edinburgh have changed the entire front row as we approach the hour.

Boan Venter, Dave Cherry and Javan Sebastian are the new front row. Pierre Schoeman, Ewan Ashman and WP Nel are replaced - has the latter just played his final Edinburgh game?

Marshall Sykes is also on for Sam Skinner.

A couple of Benetton changes to bring you. Gianmarco Lucchesi came on just before half-time, while Lorenzo Cannone, Edoardo Iachizzi, Mirco Spagnolo and Giosue Zilocchi have just entered the fray.

    That's all the forwards on.

Edinburgh are pinged at scrum-time and Benetton once again have the ball in their visitors' 22m.

They scramble towards the line, as Edinburgh defend desperately. Tomas Albarnoz tries to find Nacho Brex but the ball goes to deck.

Another let off. The nerves are jangling - Edinburgh are currently in the top eight with a losing bonus point.

That's a let-off for Edinburgh. I'm not sure Thomas Gallo ever lost momentum on his way to the line.

    Could be a huge call.

How good is Jamie Ritchie at hunting the aerial ball?

Unfortunately for Edinburgh, they can't use his prowess as James Lang throws another pass straight into touch.

I don't think Edinburgh have had ball in Benetton's territory in this half yet.

There's a loose ball on the edge of the 22m as Matt Currie tries to stab the ball out of a ruck.

Loosehead prop Thomas Gallo spots a gap, powers through a Jake Henry tackle, and is brought down just short. He rolls and taps the ball down... but Ben Whitehouse says it's double movement.

    That is really hard lines.

Ignacio Mendy has absolutely gassed Chris Dean on the outside after a brilliant Benetton turnover.

He kicks but James Lang is covering well and he's able to snatch the ball before Ali Price clears.

Good scramble from Edinburgh but they're still on the back-foot.

Benetton chip into the corner and there's real pressure on this Edinburgh throw.

Ewan Ashman has it... and it's turned over. Benetton have it 5m out, but it's spilled as Nacho Brex tries to offload.

Did that go forward? Lucky, lucky Edinburgh.

The Stormers, who are 15-21 down to the Lions, have just had try-scorer Angelo Davids sent off.

The news from Cape Town gets worse and worse.

The second-half is underway through the boot of Tomas Albornoz.

Edinburgh haven't won in Treviso since October 2017. They need a huge effort if they are to change that today.

It is all on the line.

Benetton are so dangerous off turnover ball, that's where they come alive - off loose, scrappy ball. That's why Edinburgh are kicking the ball so much.

Edinburgh aren't used to playing a massive amount. They're building on box-kicks because they're so strong on defence. They don't like to play wide, they like to play it tight and that's completely different to Benetton.

If the scores stay the same, Edinburgh's season is over.

Edinburgh are in a real battle here.

They have spent much of the first half on the backfoot and have struggled in the heat, and in the face of some ferocious Benetton defence, to get their attacking game going in any meaningful way.

The frustration is when the second Benetton try came it was at a moment when the Scots seemed to be finally stringing a few phases together, getting their big ball-carriers motoring and attacking with some purpose.

This is a big test of Edinburgh's resolve in this second 40.

  15. Half-time Benetton 12-6 Edinburghpublished at 13:49 British Summer Time 1 June

Benetton coming forward well as the clock goes red. Can Edinburgh hold on and only go into the sheds six points behind? Yes they can.

There's so much riding on this game and at the moment, it's Benetton who have dealt with the pressure better.

Edinburgh even had a man advantage in the opening 10 minutes and couldn't do anything with it. They are making more mistakes, and it was an error from Matt Currie that has gifted Benetton the lead.

Converted try BENETTON 12-6 Edinburghpublished at 35 mins

    Onisi Ratave

Benetton's line-out is poor and Ewan Ashman steals. Edinburgh go wide and they're into Italian territory

But it's turned over! Matt Currie tries to slip the ball out the back but the ball is spilled straight to Ratave and the Fijian races clear.

Disaster for Edinburgh. Smith adds the extras in front of the posts.

Edinburgh turn it over again. Ewan Ashman this time. Brilliant defence from Sean Everitt's side when it matters.

Andy Uren, that is incredible. He launches a 50-22 while being tackled by Duhan van der Merwe.

Benetton try and play it quick but it's ahead of the mark and they're called back. In the aftermath, Tomas Albornoz puts in a cheap shot on Matt Currie, who pushes back.

    It's getting a bit fiery.

    Benetton 5-6 Edinburgh

Grant Gilchrist is pinged for not rolling away and Benetton kick down the corner. Nacho Brex crashes through and Edinburgh are on the backfoot, but they win the turnover penalty.

Guess who? Jamie Ritchie. He's back on form. 15 jackal turnovers in the URC this season - a league best.

  20. Penalty Benetton 5-6 EDINBURGHpublished at 27 mins

    Ben Healy

This is better from Edinburgh. Healy, Dean and Currie combine to get Edinburgh to the edge of the 22m and they win a penalty from the ill-discipline of Niccolo Cannone.

Healy has the tee again, and splits the posts again. Edinburgh have the lead for the first time.
