Harry Paterson was outstanding that day at Murrayfield against France [in the Six Nations].
He's an exciting talent. It's just a shame that after that performance he got injured for Edinburgh.
He was great against Canada, we saw his offloading ability and that's what you need in a broken back field, to keep the ball alive.

If Uruguay don't improve upon last week's performance, they won't be able to blame the surroundings.
Fourteen members of their starting team today either do or have represented Uruguay's club franchise, Peñarol, who call Charrúa Stadium in Montevideo home.

In the build-up to his 50th Test cap, Scotland centre Huw Jones has spoken about how, a few years back, he had become resigned to his international career being over.
"In a way, I had made peace with it," Jones said of an extraordinary start to his Test career being followed by a mighty slump in the 2018-19 season, in particular, brought on by injury and an accompanying crisis of confidence.
"I'd decided that was it, my international career was over and I would just focus on playing club rugby and enjoying it for the rest of my career.
"I probably got to a point where I thought I'd played my last game for Scotland, so to have turned that around and played consistently over the last two years has been absolutely amazing."
His is a notable rise and fall story. Jones landed in Scottish rugby in 2016 like an alien from outer-space. Here was a try-scoring centre in blue, a speedster in the midfield with a step and an eye for a score the like of which had not been seen from a Scottish centre in an age.
He ran in 10 tries in his first 14 Tests between November 2016 and February 2018. He scored four times in two games against England and three in two against Australia. He scored against New Zealand and France, too.
He was powerful, creative and, on his day, virtually unstoppable. That was the rise - and then came the fall.

It's a massive occasion for both sides as Uruguay look to restore some pride after an abysmal display against Argentina last week, while Scotland will be hoping for a competitive game to silence some of the criticism the tour has attracted.
Uruguay were hopeful that three home tests this July would allow them to kick on from a great World Cup but last week was a big step backwards.

Only Kyle Rowe and fly-half Ben Healy survive from Scotland's win over Chile last weekend, with Rowe moving from full-back to right wing to accommodate Harry Paterson.
Centre Huw Jones, 30, wins his 50th cap while Scotland's joint-record try scorer Duhan van der Merwe takes up the opposite wing to Rowe.
Stafford McDowall and scrum-half George Horne make up the backs while Rory Sutherland, Ewan Ashman and Javan Sebastian form a new front row.
Alex Williamson partners Gregor Brown in the second row and the back row comprises Luke Crosbie, captain Rory Darge and Matt Fagerson.
Paterson is the least experienced player in the XV, with only two caps, while hooker Patrick Harrison could make his second Scotland appearance off the bench.

Though losing would be an almighty shock for Scotland, Uruguay should prove to be the toughest of their summer opponents.
They went down 79-5 against Argentina last weekend but competed well in a 43-28 defeat by France before that. They were impressive in defeat against France and Italy in World Cup games last autumn.
So far on tour, Scotland have defeated Canada, the United States and Chile.
"They played France two weeks ago and then Argentina at the weekend, so they’re better prepared to play Test teams," Scotland head coach Gregor Townsend said of Uruguay.
"Now, they didn't perform that well at the weekend, so that often makes it a little bit tougher for you because you know you're going to get a reaction from them.
"We're expecting a really physical team - they're strong around the tackle area, they get a lot of jackal turnovers, they come off the line in defence and they're a big pack."

Good evening and welcome to our coverage of Scotland's fourth and final Test of their summer tour, as they take on Uruguay in Montevideo.
There have been three comfortable wins against Canada, USA and Chile in the past three weeks, and Gregor Townsend will want his side to make it a clean sweep here.
