That three points makes a big difference to the score line. It's been a really good start to the second half, if Ireland can cut out the handling errors and sloppiness they are well in this game.

That was a slick and powerful kick from Prendergast.

    HT: Ireland 5-13 Australia

    Gareth Steenson
Former Ireland fly-half on BBC Radio Ulster

They need to be confident and stick to the plan, they are eight points down and one score and they're back in the game so they need to believe they will score points.

Australia will want more of the same. Joe Schmidt will be delighted with that first half and he will want to shore things up so it will make things interesting and it has been a good test match so far.

    HT: Ireland 5-13 Australia

    Jonny Bell
Former Ulster and Ireland centre on BBC Radio Ulster

Prendergast has played well, he has kicked when he has needed to kick and he passes beautifully, he has so much confidence so it's good to see.

I think Ireland can tire this Australia team out and get opportunities.

Ireland are almost forcing that last pass, but it is something they can correct. They're getting the ball in the right area of the fields. They need a little bit more penetration so those passes will start to stick and you will start to see good opportunities.
