Sometimes you take on shots that aren't the wrong shot to take on, but the way he's been playing, it's worrying how far Shaun missed the long red by. It didn't threaten the pocket, so that wouldn't make him feel good.
Kyren Wilson's beating him 5-2 tonight, so he's been dominated tonight.
You can't just click your fingers and suddenly you're in the balls and scoring again. You can try too hard sometimes.
Wilson 7-8 Murphy
Shaun Murphy has scored ONE POINT in THREE FRAMES.
Wilson 7-8 Murphy
Kyren Wilson picking the balls off with precision and deliberation. Frame over.
The world number two misses a pink at 73-0 up - but with only 59 points left on the table, Shaun Murphy concedes.
The Magician led 7-3 and 8-4 - it's now 8-7 and very much up for grabs.

Sarah Crane: Definite momentum shift happening. Hope Shaun can hold his nerve and get an opportunity.
Wilson 6-8 Murphy
Kyren Wilson slams into the pack of reds off the blue and this is a big chance to reel off a third straight frame and really pile the pressure on an increasingly-flustered Shaun Murphy.
Wilson 6-8 Murphy
Lady Luck is turning Wilson's way too.
He misses a long red but instead of going over the middle pocket, it drifts just past.
A frustrated Shaun Murphy tries a tricky long one of his own, gets nowhere near - and Wilson pulls out a superb double on a red to land plum on the black.
Wilson 6-8 Murphy
As Stephen Hendry said in the break between frames, Shaun Murphy isn't getting a chance in among the balls at the minute. Kyren Wilson is freezing him out a bit, not gifting anything easy. It's working.
Wilson 6-8 Murphy
Superb long red from Kyren Wilson, who is playing with real confidence now.
He has to put the slightest trace of side-spin on the cue ball to avoid the blue in potting the red.
Lands perfect on the black but the cannon into the pack doesn't work out - Wilson tries a very speculative four-ball plant but with safety in mind, screwing the cue ball back to the cushion.

I don't see any weakness from Shaun at the moment, Kyren's just keeping him off the table at the moment and that's the first priority, because when Shaun gets in he's winning frames in one visit.
The crowd want this, they can feel a comeback going, and that can manifest itself in Shaun as well.

You can get inspired [when beginning a fightback].
You start to fancy the job a bit more and all of a sudden you feel maybe your opponent is starting to squirm in the other chair.
You've got nothing to lose. At the moment, it feels like Kyren is the more comfortable out there.
Wilson 6-8 Murphy
Yep. Kyren Wilson has won four of tonight's six frames.
He's back in this final without doubt. World champion doing what world champions do.
Wilson 5-8 Murphy
Shaun Murphy escapes the snooker at the second attempt - but Kyren Wilson notices a plant amid the pack of reds and lamps it in.
He lands nicely on the black too and this frame is close to being over.
Wilson 5-8 Murphy
The break ends on 27 but Wilson sticks Shaun Murphy right on the yellow, snookered on every red.
With a 50-point lead - and just 75 left on the table - the Warrior is a big favourite to reduce his arrears to just two frames.

It goes without saying at this stage of the match, when every visit is a big visit, but you feel that if he can get it to 8-6, it will start to look a little bit twitchy.
Wilson 5-8 Murphy
Errors and misses from both players in this frame but it's Kyren Wilson who knocks in a good mid-distance red to earn himself the next opportunity.
Wilson 5-8 Murphy
However, Kyren Wilson misses what is, for him, a very, very straightforward rest shot, with his break on 24.
The red lands near the cushion but Shaun Murphy continues his own 100% tournament pot record with the rest - however, he fails to get position on a colour.
Wilson 5-8 Murphy
Kyren Wilson took a little break after winning that frame, returning with a cuppa of something which he warms his hands on.
And here's something else to warm him up. Shaun Murphy is so, so, so close with an excellent long cut... it looks in all the way but somehow stays out. And it's right over the pocket for the world champion.

Kyren just backs himself and always has done, even before he became world champion.
He's got great temperament and will to win, great belief in himself and that carries you a long way - especially when you're down in a match.
As long as Shaun needs two frames to win, Kyren will believe there's a chance.
If Shaun gets to nine, it becomes a different matter and you really can't afford to miss anything.

Sometimes you have to affect change, sometimes it's about upping your pace around the table, bullying the balls a bit and in your own mind you feel more confident.
But sometimes you just have to wait for your chances - and make the most of them.
