Jones pushed the boat out then when it would have better been anchored to shore.
Kyren Wilson was rocking a bit but now he's back in stroke, the world number 12's break up to 46 - even if he is using the entirety of the pocket, a couple of his pots drawing oohs from the crowd who thought they were staying out.

Pressure indeed.
Kyren Wilson has just missed a red your man down the club would get.
But unlike the past two frames, Jak Jones hasn't punished him, going for a speculative pot that does not pay off.

Kyren has been sitting there in the chair seeing the scoreboard changing.
Now Jak has made three breaks of 50 consecutively, he's starting to score.
There's pressure on him - there's expectation, that is the big thing.

That red that Kyren butchered in the first frame when he split the pack open, who knows how important that could be?
If he'd won it in one visit, he might not even be talking about this comeback but Jak has momentum now.

Jak Jones has every right to have been nervous.
Every single night in the past couple of weeks has been the biggest night of his life in snooker terms as he's broken new ground with each victory.
But he looks a completely different player this evening than he did this afternoon. Jak Jones is on the march.

It's too early to say, have we got a game on?
But have we got a game on??

Paul Curran: C'mon Jak - not fussed who wins, just don't want this final to be a non-event.

Any slight error from Jak Jones was being heavily punished this afternoon but has that break of 75 shifted the momentum?
He is already looking a lot more like the player that got past Judd Trump and Stuart Bingham to reach his first ranking final.

You might get your wish, Shaun.
Kyren Wilson leaves a dolly of a red to give Jak Jones a golden chance to really stretch his 28-point lead.

I think it's going to be really interesting to see how Kyren Wilson handles things tonight.
You think back to his final in 2020 against Ronnie O'Sullivan, Kyren wasn't supposed to win that one. But he's supposed to win this.
And he has this massive advantage. So if Jak Jones can just ebb away at that it will be interesting to see what happens to Kyren.

We’re celebrating not just the World Championship final but today is my Dad's (Nigel) 68th birthday, so we made him a giant snooker chalk cake!!! The cake is massive (as you can see from the real chalk) but very tasty!
EXCEPTIONAL. Don't forget to leave your name on text messages!

Good start to frame 10 for Jak Jones but a black ball wobbles and stays out when he's on a break of 28.
He doesn't leave anything though so Kyren Wilson has to play safe.

Jak looked overawed for the first time in the championship this afternoon.
I thought he played too quick this afternoon - but he was very measured in that break.

What a contribution that was from Jak Jones - just in case Kyren Wilson needed any reminding that he's got a match on.
Wilson 7-2 Jones
Nope, Jones fouls the cue ball trying to pot that red - they were so close to each other.
But a break of 75 earns the Welshman back-to-back frames either side of the restart.
Wilson 7-1 Jones
Incredibly impressive start to the evening session from Jak Jones.
The frame is secured. Could he make a World Championship final century?
Probably not... he falls awkward on the penultimate red.
Wilson 7-1 Jones
Jak Jones is beginning to show the kind of composure that has got him to the dance.
He's up to 40 points in this opening frame of the second session of the World Championship final.

What Jak Jones needs to remember, as he tries to mount this comeback, if he takes it one ball at a time, one frame at a time, you just never know.
In 1985 when Steve Davis led Dennis Taylor 8-0, Dennis came back to win - and all comebacks have to start somewhere.
