British player on BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Sounds

I do often feel that fortune favours the brave in tie-breaks.

If you can step up and just be that little bit more aggressive, because your opponent might be holding back five percent, you just have that bit more time on the ball.

Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova was really being brave there. She got her racquet speed up and started to go body.

    *Jarry 2-3 Norrie

That's another easy hold of serve for Cameron Norrie, who is likely to move back into the top 50 in the world if he wins today.

  8. Hello sunshine (sort of)published at 14:54 British Summer Time 6 July

It may not be glorious sunshine, but the most important thing is that it is dry again.

That means we can get going again on the outside courts.

In the other women's fourth-round singles match that is currently under way, Germany's Laura Siegemund has managed to get an early break against Argentina's Solana Sierra on court two.

There is also plenty of action in the doubles and junior tournaments.

A notable name in the girl's singles sees Mimi Xu - who lost to Emma Raducanu in the opening round of the women's event - up against American Thea Frodin and is serving for the match on court 12.

  13. Norrie 'in a great place'published at 14:50 British Summer Time 6 July

    *Jarry 1-2 Norrie

    Tim Henman
Former British number one on BBC TV

Cam Norrie seems in a great place right now. He has got a great team around him and he is doing what he does well.

He stays in the rallies, he is not over-pressing, he loves that atmosphere and he feels like it is a bit livelier out on Court One and he seems to be having success out there.

I think we are all pretty happy he can continue there and if he can get through this round then he will definitely be on Centre Court.

  16. 'Full of admiration for Pavlyuchenkova'published at 14:48 British Summer Time 6 July

    Kartal 6-6 (0-0) Pavlyuchenkova*

    Anne Keothavong
Former British number one on BBC TV

I am full of admiration for Pavlyuchenkova and how she is handling this situation. She is staying calm and focused out here. Most people would not have been able to handle it as well as she is.

Kartal is doing a great job at making Pavlyuchenkova move forward and play that volley. You are sensing the uncertainty from Pavlyuchenkova whenever there is a short ball.

Kartal gets to 40-15 without any drama and an ace seals the hold to take us to a tie-break.

  18. 'Kartal really hitting her spots'published at 14:48 British Summer Time 6 July

    *Kartal 5-6 Pavlyuchenkova

    Naomi Broady
British player on BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Sounds

    Two serves, two missed returns.

These are good quality serves from Sonay Kartal. She is really hitting her spots at the moment.

  19. Jarry holdspublished at 14:47 British Summer Time 6 July

    Jarry 1-1 Norrie*

Nicolas Jarry is 6ft 7in and a BIG server. Breaking serve will be a tough ask for Cameron Norrie today.

Making the points longer is probably Norrie's best hope, despite Jarry's outstanding power, and the Briton gets the better of a couple of extended rallies to get to 30-30.

However, a 132mph ace and a tremendous serve-and-volley pick-up earn Jarry his first game of the match.

    *Kartal 5-6 Pavlyuchenkova

No break points to deal with this time.

Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova gets the hold to 15 and is guaranteed at least a tie-break in this opening set.
