Watch out tennis world, there is another Hewitt on the scene at SW19.

Australia's Cruz Hewitt was victorious on his first appearance at Wimbledon - 23 years after his father, Lleyton, claimed the men's singles title.

Wearing the type of back-to-front cap that was his dad's trademark, the 16-year-old beat Russian Savva Rybkin 6-1 6-2 in the first round of the boys' competition.

Lleyton, who beat David Nalbandian in the 2002 Wimbledon final, was courtside for his son's victory.

Former world number one Lleyton also won the 2001 US Open and reached the final of the 2005 Australian Open.

Cruz, who is playing alongside Britain's Mark Ceban in the boys' doubles at SW19, will face Finnish 11th seed Oskari Paldanius next.

Tremendous stuff from Cameron Norrie, who takes the opening set in exactly 30 minutes with a superb ace out wide.

Norrie saved a break point in the first game but held firm. And when his chance came on Nicolas Jarry's serve at 4-3 up, he took it.

Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova has come out hot off the blocks in this second set.

That was an important game for Sonay Kartal, but Pavlyuchenkova seemingly wants to move through the gears here.

I don't think she played poorly in the first set, but I do think she can play better and the tie-break would've helped to build her confidence.

It has been a big week for the 17-year-old at SW19 having made her debut in the women's draw when she lost to fellow Brit Emma Raducanu in the opening round.

Some big serving at times from the Brit in that first set as well as a lot of high quality tennis. More errors coming from the racquet of Pavlyuchenkova.

Pavlyuchenkova getting that first set under her belt is justice.

  20. 'Norrie is doing what he does best'published at 14:59 British Summer Time 6 July

    Jarry 3-3 Norrie*

    Greg Rusedski
Former British number one on BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Sounds

Nicolas Jarry got off to a brilliant start here, getting that break point early on and really throwing the kitchen sink at Cameron Norrie.

However, Norrie is doing what he does best in defending exceptionally well. He is keeping his mind together and playing some great tennis.

Expect a long one here, but I think we are going to get a British winner.
