McDonald 3-6 3-6 2-2 Djokovic*
Who's going to be the first one to pull away in this third set? Well, at the moment, neither player because they have both held their service games once again!
Djokovic eased through another clean hold before McDonald posted his reply with some huge serves to level things up once more.
Bellucci 2-1 Draper*
Shot! Mattia Bellucci is going to be a fierce opponent. He produces a sublime drop-shot winner on his way to a hold to love.
That's eight points in a row on serve from the Italian.
Kartal 6-0 3-1 Andreeva*
Erika Andreeva looks close to tears. She lets out a huge roar of frustration after firing a forehand long to open up a 40-15 led for Sonay Kartal.
Another long hit from the Russian hands Kartal the hold.
McDonald 3-6 3-6 1-1 Djokovic*
Novak Djokovic hits a fantastic ace to open up his account in this third set with another clean service hold.
Mackenzie McDonald then responds by sealing a service hold of his own, which will be a relief after two late breaks in the second set.
*Bellucci 1-1 Draper
Oooh, not there Jack.
The British number one tries to put one too many watts on his latest booming forehand and clatters into the net.
30-30. But the Brit has no fear, producing an ace and then following it up with a crisp backhand down the line to hold.
*Kartal 6-0 2-1 Andreeva
Finally Erika Andreeva is on the board. She'll at least avoid the dreaded double bagel.
That snaps an eight-game winning streak for Sonay Kartal. Let's see if that affects her at all.
Bellucci 1-0 Draper*
Mattia Bellucci brushes off the early nerves to win the next four points and hold to 30.
Some strong, sharp, attacking tennis from the Italian.
*Bellucci 0-0 Draper
Only the second point of the match and already the umpire is out of her chair checking an out call against Bellucci.
Bellucci's not happy but the umpire stands by her call. "Can you see the mark from there?" the umpire politely asks Bellucci. "No" says the Italian.
0-30.
Kartal 6-0 2-0 Andreeva*
Sonay Kartal is still thriving out on court nine.
Erika Andreeva is still yet to lay a glove on the Brit, who has already gone 2-0 up in the second set thanks to another wonderful break of serve.
Her Russian opponent is on serve again now, but things are still not going her way and she has just hit another double fault.
*Bellucci 0-0 Draper
Not a great start from Italian Mattia Bellucci who begins with a double fault.
We've all been there, Mattia.
Bellucci vs Draper
Italian Mattia Bellucci is playing in the first round of the French Open for just the second time in his career. He was knocked out in the first round last year.
The 23-year-old left-hander is ranked 68th in the world. He met Draper at the Tokyo Open last year, losing in straight sets.
McDonald 3-6 3-6 Djokovic*
Mackenzie McDonald's comeback only lasted very briefly though, as Novak Djokovic wasn't going to miss out on a second opportunity to close out the set.
Djokovic looks in his groove here and will be hoping to seal his second-round spot in this third set.
Bellucci vs Draper
Get set everyone. British number one and fifth seed Jack Draper has just walked on to Court Suzanne Lenglen.
*McDonald 3-6 3-5 Djokovic
Right on cue, Mackenzie McDonald has broken Novak Djokovic right back.
The American finally makes a mark on the Serb's serve.
Djokovic did fend off the first break point but McDonald hit a fantastic second serve return on the second break point to keep himself in the second set.
Kartal 6-0 0-0 Andreeva*
Erika Andreeva takes a quick break off court to give herself a chance to reset.
The Russian was blown away in the first set.
By the way, the only time these two have met before was in Wimbledon qualifying last year. Kartal won in straight sets.
McDonald 3-6 2-5 Djokovic*
Oh hello! Mackenzie McDonald is trying to stake a last-ditch claim in this second set and he is 0-40 up.
Novak Djokovic tilts his head back in frustration. He won't want to waste time trying to see this match out.
McDonald 3-6 2-5 Djokovic*
There seems to be no stopping Novak Djokovic now, he is just one game away from sealing the second set.
After fighting back from break points down in his service game, the Serb sweetly strikes an overhead smash to get himself 30-40 up. Then it was just a matter of another cross-court winner to seal the break of serve.
Kartal 6-0 0-0 Andreeva*
A dream debut at the French Open so far for Brit Sonay Kartal. That first set took just 30 minutes.
*Kartal 5-0 Andreeva
Wide backhand Andreeva. 40-15, two set points.
