Zverev goes long with the forehand, Fritz is a game away from the biggest win of his life.

Taylor Fritz is four points away from his first ever Slam semi-final after holding his serve.

Alexander Zverev is now serving to stay in the competition.

Zverev is still alive and fighting in this set and this match. A hold to 30 leaves us at 4-4. Fritz still two games away from victory, but needs a hold then a break to get it.

I think Alexander Zverev will win a Grand Slam. He's good enough as a player. Sometimes situations happen like Novak [Djokovic] going out, [Carlos] Alcaraz out of the draw.

These are moments where he knows he has to step up and that sometimes causes a bit more pressure. I do think he has the tennis for it.

Sometimes he is not always there mentally and he breaks down a little bit. He has to learn from previous mistakes and try to do things a little bit better. If he gives himself these opportunities, he is going to get there one day.

These two have been playing for three hours. Still plenty more to come as well.

A hold to love from Taylor Fritz adds the pressure back on to the German.

If Zverev has his serve broken in the next game then Fritz would be serving for a place in the semi-finals.

Alexander Zverev has served his way out of trouble to level the first set, two break points saved.

That was a chance for Fritz - and he knows it. A leaping forehand nets and he very nearly smashes his racquet on the ground but shows some control and decides not to. Back to deuce.

A 135 mile-per-hour serve then helps Zverev to a vital hold.

If Fritz doesn't win today, he will be haunted by his failure to convert those two-break-point chances.

"Wow," is the cry from someone in the crowd and no wonder as Zverev, break point down, opens up the shoulders and flashes away a glorious forehand winner for deuce.

But Fritz then earns a second break point.

Alexander Zverev is so difficult to put away. For somebody who struggled with his service motion in the past, he is fighting.

He is taking it one game at a time, one point at a time and really trying to break down Taylor Fritz's game. He is playing really good tennis and not giving Zverev a lot of mistakes to work his way into the match.

It's hard to say at the moment who the favourite is.

An ace from Taylor Fritz, his 12th of the match, keeps us on serve in this set, after Zverev had got it to 30-30, but no further.

Some excellent first serving from Alexander Zverev sees off the deuce threat and we're at 2-2 in the fourth set.

An excellent forehand return down the line from Fritz is one for the highlights reel and a double fault from Zverev follows and we're at deuce, Fritz smelling a chance.

Straight after a hold to love from Zverev, Fritz does likewise and has only dropped one point in his two service games in this set.

A delightful two-handed backhand from the baseline finds the line and that helps Zverev to a love hold in his first service game of set number four.

A hold to 15 for Fritz gets us going in the fourth set and you have to wonder what the Alexander Zverev energy levels are like. He was being sent left, being sent right and chasing all over the place at the end of that third set.

No time for tiredness, any poor games from here on from Zverev could be the key for Fritz moving through.
