Another one! An absolutely ridiculous rally again. Kecmanovic somehow gets to the pick-up at the net and Draper nails the passing shot.

Followed up with a sumptuous backhand down the line to seal the hold.

Oh no.

After doing all the hard word and winning a point like that Draper hits a double fault.

Miomir Kecmanovic is forcing Jack Draper to go closer to the lines. We haven't really seen slices down the middle from Draper for Kecmanovic to hit.

Wow! How either player made half of the shots in that rally I have no idea!

So good from Draper to race across court and Kecmanovic couldn't get near it.

Oh that's a frustrating one. Draper sets up the winner as Kecmanovic comes into the net but sends his shot long.

Was that the chance?

A powerful drive and an ace hand Kecmanovic the hold. You wouldn't think he had lost his last four matches the way he's playing this evening.

Evo was Britain's talisman in the group stage when the team earned their spot in Malaga.

But he was cruelly denied the chance to play in the knockout phase after suffering a calf injury at an ATP tournament in Vienna last month.

However, the British number two has turned up to provide some moral support.

As Draper digs deep again to hold serve, Evans is up on his feet and applauding his team-mate.

Not sure how vocal he is being, though.

He's sat next to the British band and is no doubt being drowned out by the trumpeter.

That's better from Draper. A big serve and a flying backhand pumped to the back of the court secures the hold.

Draper is shouting "come on!" at himself as he steps up to the baseline 15-30 down in his service game.

He needed something to get him out of that sticky situation and a sublime drop shot does the trick.

A big powerful forehand from Draper but he balloons it wide.

He does the same on the next point on the backhand and that secures the hold for Kecmanovic.

Cameras have just showed Dan Evans watching on in the crowd. He will be gutted to be missing out today.

Draper produces an excellent second serve to take the hold and keep us on serve after a bit of a scare.

Oops. First sign of real frustration from Kecmanovic as he has a word with himself for setting up the winner for Draper.

The Brit has Kecmanovic sprinting across the baseline and sets up the volley for 40-30.

Draper on the backfoot early doors as he sends back-to-back forehands long.

Kecmanovic is just biding his time.

"Come on!" Draper says to himself as he steps up to the baseline to try and get back in his service game.

A brilliant passing forehand shot down the line from Kecmanovic seals the game.

The Serb has really just found his rhythm, it's been really solid stuff so far.

So now we know why Miomir Kecmanovic was picked and we're seeing what Viktor Troicki has been seeing in practice this week.

Kecmanovic has been as solid as a rock in his service games, laying the platform for his one-set lead.

No break points faced, winning 22 of his 27 first-serve points and backing that up by landing 100% of his second serves.

Draper holds his nerve again to see out the hold.

It wasn't a straightforward hold but the Brit will want to try and build the foundation for a comeback here.
