    Boulter is looking really good up inside the court. Her net play has been excellent all-round whereas Maria is opting for pace rather than placement.

    There are all sorts of shots that just become that much more difficult on this surface.

    Boulter's beautiful charge through the volley secures her the game. She just about has her nose in front although it is very tight.

    On the whole, the drop shot has been unsuccessful for Boulter - I don't understand why she is going for it.

    The double fault from Maria just allowed Boulter back into the game and she got her reward with a little bit of lift and shape.

    Maria always seems to have a way of getting a drop shot past Boulter. Even when the ball goes over the forehand side, it always seems out of reach for Boulter.

    Maria is making her uncomfortable and is looking to press ahead now in this set, but Boulter looks determined.

    The high defence of Maria is getting the job done, she is weaving her web and Boulter is well and truly caught up in it.
