    Tim Henman

Absolutely corner to corner from both players!

Carlos Alcaraz did so well to just run that ball down, sliding into that forehand and playing that defensive lob, but look at that smash going backwards from Fabio Fognini.

The job is not done yet for Fognini, he has to hold his serve here.

Klugman can only hit into the net after a fierce ace down the line from her opponent.

The British wildcard will probably see that as a missed opportunity.

However, this set has been going for 29 minutes which is five minutes longer than the first one so that is a positive in itself.

Two break points for Alcaraz - but they come and go in a flash. Superb, crisp hitting from Fognini on the second of them, working his opponent one way then the other.

The 38-year-old Italian gets to advantage but then double faults and it proves costly. Brilliant passing winner from Alcaraz, fired cross-court to bring up a third break point.

Fognini can't save this one with his forehand missing the mark. Alcaraz will serve for the third set.

    Gary Rose
    BBC Sport at Wimbledon

The crowd continues to do its best to pick up Jacob Fearnley when the going gets tough and it does seem to give him spurts of energy in this heat - that strong hold being an eample, but then it must be so disheartening when Joao Fonseca follows it up with a very strong service game like he did just then.

Joao Fonseca looks up to his coaching box and raises his racquet in celebration as he pulls 40-15 clear.

A pump of the fist in the same direction signals that he's wrapped up the game.

Jacob Fearnley still doesn't seem to be able to fully get to grips with the speed of the Brazilian's serve.

  19. Game and first set - Searlepublished at 16:21 British Summer Time 30 June

    *Quinn 4-6 Searle

Two set points come and two set points go for British wildcard Henry Searle.

American Ethan Quinn manages to keep himself in this first set for a little bit longer.

The former boy's singles champion had been a break down but impressively turned it around and served it out.
