Despite losing the first point of his opening service game here, it's relatively plain sailing from then on. A fortunate clip off the top of the net helps to secure the game for the British number one.

Carolina Dolehide may not be landing as many first serves as she would like, but she has enough behind her second serve to keep Barbora Krejcikova standing that bit further back to receive.

The defending champion shows her frustration as she mishits and Dolehide manages to hold serve again.

We've already seen five of the top 10 seeds exit the women's singles draw.

Coco Gauff (2), Jessica Pegula (3), Jasmine Paolini (4) and Paula Badosa (9) are out.

Can Iga Swiatek avoid becoming number six?

The eighth seed is on serve to begin the second set.

Marin Cilic gets the better of the early exchanges, a pinging forehand down the line and an ace out wide helping him to 40-0.

Jack Draper cracks a forehand return winner but then nets on the next point and Cilic is off the mark.

Iga Swiatek was just going for the lines too soon in the point.

There were a lot of unforced errors from the Pole.

A wayward forehand brings Carolina Dolehide back into the game on Barbora Krejcikova's serve.

But the defending champion does enough to take the game to 30 and edge in front in this tight deciding set.

Caty McNally breezed through that! Whoops and shouts of "Go Caty" fill the air as she seals the first set in no time.

This has been the tournament of top seeds tumbling and McNally is a set away from sending out the eighth seed here.

Maybe that past experience of playing alongside Iga Swiatek, albeit in 2018 when they won the French Open doubles title together as juniors, is helping.

They've only met once at professional level with Swiatek 6-4 6-4 on the hard at the Ostrava Open in the Czech Republic in 2022.

Marin Cilic is making his 15th appearance in the men's singles at Wimbledon but he has only played a British player there once before - he lost in straight sets to Andy Murray in the fourth round in 2012.

This is the first time he will have met Jack Draper in a tour-level match.

Cilic will serve first on Court One.

That is phenomenal tennis from the American.

This is a difficult grass-court player to play and she is beating a five-time Grand Slam champion after taking the first set.

The break after the second set seems to have done Barbora Krejcikova the world of good as she quickly brings up three set points on Carolina Dolehide's serve.

The defending champion can't do much with the first and does not get enough on her slices to take the second or the third.

American Dolehide does well to win four points in a row, and manages to stave off another break point to finally keep hold of her serve.

Iga Swiatek overcooks a forehand and Caty McNally completes the comeback to take the opening set.

If this set does go against Iga Swiatek it will be a huge opportunity passed up, having led 4-1.

Caty McNally is racing through the points. The American has three set points.

A change of racquet for Iga Swiatek as she hasn't looked happy at all in the latter stages of this first set.

This isn't her favoured surface by any stretch but there's hopes she can go far this year, having enjoyed her best run on grass just prior to Wimbledon when she reached the Bad Homburg final.

A big game ahead for both players.

By winning in the first round on Tuesday, Jack Draper equalled his best-ever performance at Wimbledon.

His previous three appearances resulted in a first-round defeat followed by two second-round exits.

His best run in a Grand Slam to date was when he got to the US Open semi-finals last year.

Caty McNally gets her feet stuck underneath her and can't return a body serve.

But McNally gets the break at the second attempt.

The American will serve for the set.

Caty McNally almost passes up a golden chance for a slam at the net but it lands just in, and she can turn away with a smile and a 30-0 against serve.

Iga Swiatek fails to get enough whip on her forehand and it's into the tramlines. 40-15.

Everyone in tennis knows this is a difficult surface for her.

Barbora Krejcikova took a break at the end of that second set, possibly to gather her thoughts after the disappointment.

Much better serving and some clinical groundstrokes from the defending champion sees her get off to a good start in this deciding set.
