After an encouraging enough start, Aleksandar Vukic appears at risk of becoming the latest player to be caught out by a Sinner cyclone.

It is rare for Sinner, now into his 56th week as world number one, to lose to any player not named Carlos Alcaraz these days. A tough spell, this, for the 93rd-ranked Vukic.

This Court One crowd desperately want Jack Draper to succeed.

After he took the third set it felt like momentum was with him but the longer this goes on the more Marin Cilic seems to be wrestling it back.

The crowd give the Brit a rousing round of applause as he steps up to the baseline at 15-30.

    *Draper 4-6 3-6 6-1 3-4 Cilic

    Pat Cash
Former Wimbledon champion on BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Sounds

This is my issue with Jack, he has moved further back on the return this year, and if you don’t get it back deep enough then you are just a sitting duck.

Cilic is just picking them off at will.

"Come on Jacky-boy!" is the cry from one bloke in the stands.

After that rally to take us to deuce it was the Cilic fans that were on their feet in front of me. It's not bad movement, that, for someone considered a 'veteran' of the sport.

  13. 'Draper getting the Wimbledon experience here'published at 19:14 British Summer Time 3 July

    Draper 4-6 3-6 6-1 3-3 Cilic*

    Todd Woodbridge
Former Wimbledon doubles champion on BBC Two

Jack Draper is getting the Wimbledon experience here.

Wouldn't it be something if he was able to get something back here and push himself through to the next round?

That would be an experience that he would savour.

  14. Draper holdspublished at 19:14 British Summer Time 3 July

    Draper 4-6 3-6 6-1 3-3 Cilic*

Marin Cilic is battling so hard. Even at 40-0 down in Jack Draper's latest service game, he chases down every single ball. Every single ball. Every one.

Draper plays a pretty good drop shot but Cilic somehow gets there and replies with a backhand winner to bring up deuce.

Draper eventually holds but whatever the opposite of being gifted something is, it's exactly that.

  15. 'Vukic dealing with Sinner onslaught'published at 19:13 British Summer Time 3 July

    Sinner 6-1 0-0 Vukic*

    John McEnroe
Three-time Wimbledon singles champion on BBC TV

You just feel so much pressure when you play Jannik Sinner.

I don't think Aleksandar Vukic even feels like he is breathing, not to mention just how tight he was just going on the court and he is dealing with this onslaught.

The seeds continue to fall all around SW19.

This time it is in the women's singles as world number 28 Sofia Kenin suffered a straight-set defeat by Spain's Jessica Bouzas Maneiro out on court number two.

There was genuine laughter beside me at how good that Jannik Sinner backhand was as he neatly wrapped up another break. It was huge.

  19. Sinner breaks againpublished at 19:09 British Summer Time 3 July

    *Sinner 5-1 Vukic

Jannik Sinner's in the groove now. The Italian gets to 15-40 by galloping towards the net and hitting a backhand pass.

He then nabs his insurance break straight away with a deep backhand which Vukic can only net.

My colleague Jonathan mentioned Andy Murray's moment back in 2008 that sparked 'Murray-mania'.

I've been trying to think of a Draper equivalent if he pulls this off.

    Draper-delirium? Jack-joy?
