  1. Game and third set - Draperpublished at 18:48 British Summer Time 3 July

    Draper 4-6 3-6 6-1 0-0 Cilic*

The Court One crowd cheer loudly as they think Jack Draper has served an ace to bring up set point. The umpire called a let. So Draper sends down another ace.

    Set point for the Briton.

An unreturnable serve - that's one of the sets back!

A fairly muted response from the world number four, the job is far from done.

Marin Cilic does have a trait of becoming a bit wobbly on serve at times.

It is interesting with his serve because his motion is good, so his first serve is an effective weapon at times, but his second serve is where he has the trouble.

While much of the nation is gripped by Jack Draper’s desperate fight to keep alive his Wimbledon hopes, over on Centre Court the world number one Jannik Sinner is about to begin his bid for a place in the third round.

He will hope for another comfortable victory when he takes on Aleksandar Vukic after cruising through his opener in straight sets, losing just seven games to compatriot Luca Nardi.

To my right, there is a group of around 10 fans wearing bright orange tops.

The Carota Boys may not be here officially - not until the final anyway - but their legacy lives on.

Jack Draper is still waiting for his Andy Murray moment at Wimbledon.

You know the one - where he achieves the impossible during a primetime slot at the All England Club and causes waves across the nation.

Remember Murray fighting back from two sets down against Richard Gasquet in 2008? The one where Murray-mania exploded?

If Draper somehow turns this one around, this would be that moment for the 23-year-old Englishman.

Cilic then goes wide - a point for a double break for the Briton...

    Sinner v Vukic

Jannik Sinner has won two of the past three Grand Slams since his most recent visit to Wimbledon, losing the other to Carlos Alcaraz in a classic French Open final a few weeks ago.

Is he the player to beat in the men's draw?

  10. 'I'm just trying to adjust'published at 18:40 British Summer Time 3 July

    Swiatek 5-7 6-2 6-1 McNally

More from Iga Swiatek on whether her confidence is improving on grass: "I played really solid matches at Bad Homburg so that gave me a lot of confidence. The court is totally different through so it is not easy to adjust especially when the practice courts are used for two weeks and this beauty is just played on a few hours a day.

"I'm just trying to adjust and feel these courts as well as I did at Bad Homburg. It's not bad to play a long match today because I had more time on Centre Court so I've got to appreciate it and just focus on the next one."

  11. 'I knew my game was there'published at 18:40 British Summer Time 3 July

    Swiatek 5-7 6-2 6-1 McNally

Eighth seed Iga Swiatek, speaking after beating American Caty McNally on Centre Court: "I started the match well so I knew that my game was there. I lost it for a bit and did some errors that shouldn't happen and Caty McNally used that.

"I knew that at the start of the second set I had to be more accurate. I just tried to improve and I'm happy it worked."

On winning doubles with McNally at junior level: "It's pretty funny because I remember these matches pretty well and 2018 was my last year in juniors. Losing against her in Roland Garros in the semi-finals was probably my most heart-breaking loss.

"We know each other pretty well, I really like Caty and her family is super nice always and really supportive. She's one of the people who make you feel like you are not only rivals on tour but that you can also respect each other and like each other. I'm happy that she is back and injury-free because she has the game to play well."

Elsewhere, world number one Jannik Sinner has just walked out on to Centre Court, he's about to take on Australian Aleksandar Vukic.

Sinner cruised past Italian Luca Nardi 6-4 6-3 6-0 in the first round two days ago.

The Australian Open champion is trying to win Wimbledon for the first time. He reached the semi-finals at SW19 two years ago.

Opponent Vukic needed four sets to beat Tseng Chun-hsin on Tuesday. Vukic is the world number 93 and has never reached the third round of Wimbledon before.

  15. 'Draper had courage and conviction'published at 18:37 British Summer Time 3 July

    Todd Woodbridge
Former Wimbledon doubles champion on BBC One

Well done in that game, Jack Draper!

He really had the courage and conviction to really go after a couple of forehands in the opening points and then that backhand was huge.

Cilic has been hitting the ball with so much weight throughout this match but, now the scoreline has changed, that pace will drop off and give Draper more chance.

Is this the start of the comeback?

A fist pump to the crowd from the British number one.

    *Draper 4-6 3-6 1-1 Cilic

Had he been at his peak in another era, Marin Cilic might have won multiple Grand Slam titles, rather than just the one he claimed at the US Open in 2014.

Unfortunately for him, he was in that rung of players just underneath four of the sport's all-time greats.

Another comfortable service hold levels things up in set three.

  20. 'Cilic's ball-striking on grass is so effective'published at 18:23 British Summer Time 3 July

    Draper 4-6 3-6 1-0 Cilic*

    Todd Woodbridge
Former Wimbledon doubles champion on BBC One

I don't think Jack Draper will have played against a style like Marin Cilic's much in his career. He is such a big flat ball-hitter but he gets away with it because he is so tall. His margins are OK.

The modern era that Draper has been playing against, who are around his age, they are much heavier hitters with more spin, trajectory and power.

Cilic's ball-striking on grass is so effective. He is almost a blended player across the eras because he is 36 years of age, so it is a new-look style for Draper.
