Great Britain qualified for the 12-team Billie Jean King Cup Finals with a stunning win over France in April.

Anne Keothavong said the victory was "certainly up there" with her greatest achievements as GB captain.

Emma Raducanu's comeback win over Diane Parry gave Britain an unassailable 3-1 win.

It was the first time that Great Britain earned a spot in the Finals by right, having qualified as hosts in 2021.

Twelve teams will compete in the Billie Jean King Cup Finals this week.

Canada, as the current holders, Italy, as 2023 runners-up, hosts Spain and wildcard Czech Republic all qualified automatically.

They are joined by the eight winners of the 2024 qualifiers - Australia, Germany, Great Britain, Japan, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and the United States.

The winners in round one will progress to the quarter-finals, with semi-finals and the final to follow.

All ties at the Finals will consist of three matches - two singles followed by doubles.

    Hola amigos!

The World Cup of Tennis is back in Malaga, bigger than it was last year. Will it be better? We'll see.

Last year it was only the Davis Cup Finals held here, with Great Britain losing to Serbia in the quarter-finals of the men's team event before Jannik Sinner's Italy won the trophy match.

This year, the BJK Cup - the women's team event - is also taking place at the Palacio de Deportes in an exciting double header.

The Brits are back in the BJK Cup Finals (as you know), but their male counterparts did not reach the final eight of their competition. Sigh.

Oh, and the Davis Cup event is also going to be a momentous - and emotional - farewell to a certain someone...
