    Jacob Fearnley's rise is incredible.

    I believe he is the fastest riser up through the ranks for quite some time. To have come through the Challengers that quickly and to move up the world rankings that fast is quite exceptional.

    It says something about him as a competitor because it isn't easy to break out of that Challenger circuit. There are so many great players in there so you need a bit of luck or you have to be outstanding as a competitor to keep grinding your way through it.

    Could we be set for our biggest shock at this year's French Open?

    American fourth seed Taylor Fritz is 2-1 down on Court Simonne Mathieu and has just been broken for a second time in his fourth set by opponent Daniel Altmaier.

    Fritz reached the final of last year's US Open, but on clay this summer he's had a mixed record with three wins and three defeats.

    German Altmaier is ranked 47th in the world.

    But it is Badosa who manages to get over the line to move within touching distance of victory.

    There was nothing to separate them in the final set until moments ago, when Badosa made the breakthrough following a potentially very costly miss from Osaka.

    The Spaniard will now serve for a 5-3 lead.
