I think the majority of the crowd will be supporting Elina Svitolina. I just think they know her a bit better. If you’re a tennis fan and you follow throughout the years, you would have seen much more of her than Rybakina and she gives a lot more away.

Rybakina is a fun girl to be around for sure, but she doesn’t really give you much in an interview and so I feel like a lot of people don’t feel they have the same connection.

A huge roar from Barbora Krejcikova when she wins the set.

That's three straight love holds.

With the way her service games are going, you wonder if there's any hope for Jelena Ostapenko getting into this one.

It's been an imperious start on Court One for Barbora Krejcikova. The match is on her racquet which is a surprise given the power Jelena Ostapenko can wield.

After hitting two double faults on her first two serves of this match, Krejcikova has looked bulletproof on her service games and it's the same in her last game of this first set, winning it comfortably.

The 31st seed leads the 13th seed in this quarter-final.

What a start for Elina Svitolina.

The Ukrainian quickly brings up two break points and when Elena Rybakina goes long with a backhand on the second of them, the 21st seed has the early break.

Now it is about the nerves for Barbora Krejcikova.

A love hold from Jelena Ostapenko and neither player has made a dent in the other's service game since Barbora Krejcikova broke early on.

The Czech will come out next to serve for a one-set lead in this quarter-final.

I think Elina Svitolina is absolutely remarkable. Anybody who's had children know how much energy they sap out of you and normally tennis players are very single minded. They have tunnel vision and they have to be selfish.

But when they’ve got everything going on with training, nutrition, fitness, to add in a child is a lot - but she seem to be coping with it admirably.

There is nothing to chose between these two after four previous meetings.

They have won two matches each, with Elena Rybakina winning the most recent - at Roland Garros in last month's French Open - as well as their only encounter on grass before today.

Both players have been serving well, which makes Barbora Krejcikova's early break look better and better as the set goes on.

Rallies are hard to come by on Court One right now but it's impressive match play from Krejcikova, as she looks to make her first Wimbledon singles semi-final.

There is a chant war taking place on Court One.

Barbora Krejcikova's supporters belt out a few lines in Czech before Jelena Ostapenko's fans shout back at them "Jelena, Jelena, Jelena" with a Latvian flag raised above their heads.

Jelena Ostapenko's matches have averaged 1 hour and 1 minute at these Championships. This game is an example as to why that is.

The Latvian's serve is a weapon and Krejcikova can't get her teeth into a rally this time.
