I’m not quite sure what’s happening right now but Arthur Fery has been sat in his chair for an awful long time after losing the third set.
Daniel Altmaier has now made his way back to court 16 after what must have been a stoppage of around 10 minutes.
Big set coming up for the Brit.
Alcaraz 7-6 (7-3) 7-5 5-1 Lajal*
Alcaraz one game away from victory.
Trevisan 3-2 Keys*
Following Aryna Sabalenka's withdrawal earlier in the day, the match between 12th seed Madison Keys and Italy's Martina Trevisan has been bumped up to Court One.
The American let a break point go by in the last game and the left-handed Trevisan digs in to keep it on serve in the first set.
Osaka 4-1 Parry*

Naomi Osaka gets the first break against Diane Parry, converting her fourth chance as the Frenchwoman slices a backhand into the net.
It's been a confident start for the Japanese, who consolidates with a hold to 15.
*Alcaraz 7-6 (7-3) 7-5 4-1 Lajal
At 15-40, Alcaraz had two points for a double break. The first vanished thanks to a blistering ace from Lajal, but the Estonian can't do anything about a perfect drop shot.
Alcaraz 4-1 up with a double break. Lajal needs something sensational to stay in this.

Best forehand on tour.
Those intangibles and that net instinct, I don't think you can really teach that.
You either have it or you don't, he definitely has it.
*Osaka 3-1 Parry
Four-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka has got off to a good start.
She's just broken Diane Parry to lead after the French player's ball hit the net.
You wouldn't know Osaka only returned to action in January.
Alcaraz 7-6 (7-3) 7-5 3-1 Lajal*
Another game gone for Mark Lajal and Carlos Alcaraz is getting closer to the finish line, just three games away now after a troublefree game.
*Alcaraz 7-6 (7-3) 7-5 2-1 Lajal
This was how Carlos Alcaraz won his second set of the afternoon.
Altmaier 4-6 7-6 (8-6) 1-6 Fery*
Arthur Fery sees out the game to love and takes the third set comfortably.
After losing a lengthy battle via a tie-break in the second set, that's just the kind of response Fery wanted to come up with.
What has Daniel Altmaier got left in the tank?

It’s great with these outside courts because you’re so close to the action but the worst thing is the potential of being hit with the ball.
A stray serve bounced and looked to be heading right for my face. I even tensed up ready for it.
Osaka 2-1 Parry*

Three holds of serve to start with as Naomi Osaka plays her first match at Wimbledon for five years, against France's Diane Parry on court two.
The four-time Grand Slam champion, 26, quickly shouted "sorry" in the first game when her serve nearly took out a line judge who was looking straight down the 'T'.
*Alcaraz 7-6 (7-3) 7-5 2-1 Lajal
There's no hint of a capitulation from Mark Lajal, even at two sets and a break down. He gets on the board in the third set with a hold to 15, including an ace, his sixth of the afternoon.
He has certainly shown what he can do, but can he fight back and break the Alcaraz serve, which he needs to do.
Altmaier 4-6 7-6 (8-6) 1-5 Fery*
Arthur Fery has been devastating in the third set.
A second break means he is on serve as he looks to move a set clear.
It's standing room only on Court 16 and Fery is lapping it up.
Alcaraz 7-6 (7-3) 7-5 2-0 Lajal*
Mark Lajal goes long with a two-handed backhander from deep and that gives Alcaraz some space in this third set. The Spaniard, third in the world, is two sets up and 2-0 up in the third.
*Altmaier 4-6 7-6 (8-6) 1-4 Fery

I had the pleasure of walking from court two to 16 to watch Arthur Fery in action.
A brilliant match is taking place outside of Centre Court with more and more fans hoping to catch some of the action.
Luckily for me, I have my press accreditation allowing me to get a seat but there are plenty of people here having to peep over the side of the court.
*Altmaier 4-6 7-6 (8-6) 1-4 Fery
A much needed hold of serve for Daniel Altmaier to slow Arthur Fery's progress in the third set - he's got a lot more to do if he wants to gain any kind of a foothold, though.
Wow! That's some commitment from Altmaier as he charges to the net to meet a beautifully placed drop shot and somehow manages to squeeze it down the line - just about avoiding a collision with the umpires chair in the process - to get a chance at break point.
But Fery won't fold and goes on to serve out the game.
Osaka 1-0 Parry*
Four-time major winner Naomi Osaka has just won her first game at Wimbledon since 2019.
She's playing French world number 53 Diane Parry who couldn't quite get the ball over the net to stay in the game.
*Alcaraz 7-6 (7-3) 7-5 1-0 Lajal
A superb cross-court backhand winner from Alcaraz just about stays in and that gives him a second break point in the opening game of the third set. He couldn't take a first chance, but does at the second opportunity.
Alcaraz is two sets and a break up and will be in round two if he holds his serve from now on.
