    *Evans 2-6 5-7 1-2 Tabilo

Still on serve in the third but Dan Evans is having to fight for every point.

While Alejandro Tabilo races through both his service games, Evans is taken to deuce again.

A big second serve into the body and an ace out wide get him out of trouble but the Brit is really up against it.

  2. Postpublished at 16:49 British Summer Time 3 July

    *Muller 7-6 (7-3) 6-7 (4-7) 4-6 3-4 Medvedev

Medvedev stays in a lengthy rally, being patient, waiting and forcing the error. That gives him a break point, 30-40.

  3. Postpublished at 16:45 British Summer Time 3 July

    *Muller 7-6 (7-3) 6-7 (4-7) 4-6 3-4 Medvedev

Medvedev's serving is proving too strong as he ticks the ace-count to 13, and then very quickly 14 as he holds to love to move two games away from victory.

If he was to break in the next game he would then be serving for the win.

  4. 'Big uphill battle now for Evans'published at 16:42 British Summer Time 3 July

    Evans 2-6 5-7 0-0 Tabilo*

    Dominic Inglot
Former British doubles player on BBC TV

That was going to be pretty devastating, Dan Evans fought really hard to maintain his position in the second set.

Tabilo is doing a fantastic job. He just looked far more controlled, far more solid.

A real big uphill battle now for Evans.

  5. Game and second set - Tabilopublished at 16:41 British Summer Time 3 July

    Evans 2-6 5-7 Tabilo*

A very disappointing way to end the set for Dan Evans as back-to-back double faults hand it to 24th seed Alejandro Tabilo.

Evans had worked hard to try and force the tie-break, finding another timely ace at deuce.

However, two extremely untimely double faults mean he faces an enormous task to make the second round.

  6. 'I'm ready to play a high level of tennis to take Tiafoe'published at 16:41 British Summer Time 3 July

    Alcaraz 7-6 (7-5) 6-2 6-2 Vukic

Third seed Carlos Alcaraz: "I'm really happy about my performance today. The first set was the key for me. He served for the set, then I played a really good tie-break. In the second set and third set, I played a really high level so I'm really happy about it."

On coming through the first set: "It was difficult for me to close the set. I knew it was going to be the same. I had to be there. I put a few returns in, a few winners. It was a really good game for me on the return side. In those situations, you have to increase your level, you have to put the early ball in, try to be aggressive with your style so that's all I thought about in that situation and it was really helpful for me."

On facing Frances Tiafoe: "I'm going for him! We played a really good match in the US Open. I know he is a really talented player, a tough one, even tougher on grass with his style. Good volley, good slices. It is going to be a very difficult match for me. I'm ready to take that challenge, put on a show. I'm ready to play a really high level of tennis and hopefully take him."

It's not really Wimbledon if there isn't a queue, right? These fans were waiting earlier in the concourses to get into Court One to see Alcaraz's match point.

Not sure if they made it in time though.

    *Muller 7-6 (7-3) 6-7 (4-7) 4-6 2-3 Medvedev

We remain on serve on Centre Court as Daniil Medvedev scores the hold to love.

Alexandre Muller looks like he is getting a bit tired. The players have been on court for over three hours now. Tough going.

  10. 'Been hard for Evans to get through'published at 16:35 British Summer Time 3 July

    *Evans 2-6 5-6 Tabilo

    Dominic Inglot
Former British doubles player on BBC TV

Tabilo taking care of serve and it is interesting to see average rally length of serve. Tabilo has been a bit shorter and it’s harder for Evans to get through.

    *Evans 2-6 5-6 Tabilo

    Alcaraz 7-6 (7-5) 6-2 5-1 Vukic*

  18. Game and third set - Medvedevpublished at 16:23 British Summer Time 3 July

    Muller 7-6 (7-3) 6-7 (4-7) 4-6 Medvedev

Ah that's unlucky for Alexandre Muller!

Daniil Medvedev takes the third set when Muller can only lift his backhand into the net.

The Russian has left the court after taking the lead in this second-round match and Muller is also taking some time to get a bit of treatment from the physio.

  19. Alcaraz stretches lead furtherpublished at 16:22 British Summer Time 3 July

    *Alcaraz 7-6 (7-5) 6-2 4-1 Vukic

There are some resigned-looking faces among the Vukic team. Alcaraz gets a double break of serve and there's no wonder he's smiling. The Spaniard needs two more games for what would be a second successive victory in straight sets.

  20. Postpublished at 16:20 British Summer Time 3 July

    Alcaraz 7-6 (7-5) 6-2 3-1 Vukic*

A lovely, delicate cushioned volley at the end gives Alcaraz a hold to 30 to consolidate that break and move three holds away from the third round.

American Frances Tiafoe, the 29th seed, is waiting after he recorded a straight-set victory over Croatia's Borna Coric earlier today.
