    Nakashima manages to get something on the third but it's a weak return and Evans crunches his forehand to the corner.

    He wraps up the hold with another one that the American can't get over the net.

    That was a very comfortable game for Evans.

    But the British wildcard is sent scurrying back and forth across the baseline in a lengthy rally and he eventually mishits his shot and it doesn't make it over the net.

    That's pretty disappointing for the Brit as it brings up break points for Nakashima.
