Dan Evans is up next on Andy Murray Arena.

He takes on American Brandon Nakashima for the chance to play Draper in the quarter-finals.

Evans beat seventh seed Frances Tiafoe 7-5 6-2 on Monday for his first win against a top-20 player since he defeated world number 12 Alex de Minaur at the 2023 Davis Cup.

And it was only a second career win over a top-20 opponent on grass for the 35-year-old.

Nakashima is ranked 32 in the world but with a lot less experience than the Briton at just 23-years-old.

British number one Jack Draper speaking on court:

"There's days where I need that extra support, today was one of them. Tough match and credit to Alexei [Popyrin] it was a bit up and down but you guys helped me through that so thank you.

"I think he's gone to the beer tent but my grandad is here! My family and friends are here and I love being at home and playing in front of them so it's an emotional moment for me honestly."

Feeling more comfortable on grass? "A little bit, not exactly in the first couple of sets it wasn't pretty at all. I still need some time to adjust to grass but I'm feeling better every time I get through these matches. One more under the belt and I'll be back on Friday."
