He's not managed to conjure a break point so far in this set but now would be the time to do it.

That's a ripping forehand from Draper, it wasn't that far away from Popyrin's racquet but it zips past him.
He winds up the forehand winner again but smashes it into the net for 40-30.

Draper cruised through his opening-round match but it was a tight turnaround for the Briton and this has been a bit of a grueller.

A confidence-boosting hold to love for British number one Draper as he takes the four points comfortably and once again nudges ahead in set three.

It was at that point in the second set that Draper was able to find the break of serve.
No such luck in this decider but Draper will have to make the move soon.

That's a great shot from Draper, whipped down the line on the forehand to move to 15-15 on the Popyrin serve.
The British number one takes another point off the Australian's serve when he smashes into the net but ultimately it's another hold for the world number 21.

This time Draper recovers as Popyrin's backhand passing shot drops wide of the paint and two big serves from the Briton help him to string together four consecutive points and take the hold.

Draper is fuming again as he misses the drop shot then double faults to gift Popyrin a 0-30 lead.

A lovely drop shot from Draper puts him firmly in control of his service game and he goes on to take the hold to 15.

Brilliant play at the net from Draper to move to 40-30 on the Popyrin serve.
But the Australian lobs Draper and the Briton's return is a tricky one which Popyrin just drops over the net to take the hold.

Popyrin brings up a break point as Draper double faults and tries desperately to get himself up for this again.
The Brit saves it with a big serve then sees off the game with an ace.

That's two breaks of serve for Draper to take the second set. He was very much frustrated in the early stages of but clearly had a word with himself following that double fault midway through the set and has motored on from there.

This much better now from Jack Draper and he has the crowd firmly behind him.
Popyrin will have fed off the groans and moments of quietness as the first set went away from Draper but now it is a much more difficult atmosphere for the Australian to contend with.
