There are going to be a lot of players that are playing in the tournament and I suspect ex-players who will be around this match to show and pay their respects to this great man from Dunblane, Scotland.

It's going to be quite emotional.

Even if Andy Murray loses, there will be quite a celebration awaiting him, I believe.

  7. ‘Murray is such a big role model’published at 19:14 British Summer Time 4 July

What does Heather remember about the 2013 Wimbledon final?

Not much! Speeding down the motorway back to London from her daughter’s gymnastics tournament in Birmingham, she made it just in time to see the final game and watch Andy Murray win the Championships for the first time.

“How can you be a tennis fan without being an Andy Murray fan,” Heather said.

“He’s been such a big role model for players in Britain, and look, we’ve had 19 British players this year.”

It's been a rough ride for Andy Murray for quite a few years.

It's been harsh in a lot of ways but he has handled it with class and he is going to handle this exit with class as well.

Andy will manoeuvre his way around the court so that he doesn't do himself too much damage.

This is an exciting event for Andy Murray, this is a celebration.

I'm not sure if it matters a whole lot if he wins or his loses.

The last time a first-time doubles match was played on Centre Court was 29 years ago.

Obviously, this is a deserving honour for this man who has done so much for our sport.

I'm delighted he has got the chance to to play some matches even though it's not singles.
