Keys has been doing really well in the tie-break to land a lot of first serves in, not allowing Paolini to be on the front foot on the return of her second serve.

Madison Keys can't believe it! She has the court at her mercy and sends her shot wide for 5-5.

Jasmine Paolini has kept pace with the American until now but she needs to try and get her nose in front.

She sends her forehand long and Keys has set point.

Ugo Humbert is doing a nice job just hanging in.

He feels like he's playing catch up in this match but 2-2 in the second set and he's hanging tough.

An ace out wide seals another hold for Ugo Humbert.

There was a bit of pressure on the French number one at 30-30 but he dealt with it well.

Jasmine Paolini can sense that physically it has started to become a lot harder for Madison Keys and therefore she's accelerating the tempo in between points to make she didn’t give her any extra seconds to recover and catch her breath.

Madison Keys started the tie-break the better, taking an early mini-break.

Jasmine Paolini has a wry smile as she wipes her face after hitting a really good second serve. She recovers the mini-break when Keys thumps into the net.

The American wrongfoots Paolini to nudge ahead but the Italian's big forehand sends Keys off balance and she can only return wide.

    Honours even.

Earlier on today at Court Three, the Men's Doubles Round of 32 match between Rinky Hijikata/John Peers v Neal Skupski/Michael Venus was briefly brought to a halt after the net randomly 'popped off the hook'.

Finally. It's been rather subdued on Centre Court, but that brilliant little drop shot from Ugo Humbert brings the crowd to life.

It even gets a clap from Carlos Alcaraz, who almost runs headfirst into the umpire's chair trying to reach it.

Despite that lovely shot at the net from Ugo Humbert, it's a straightforward hold for Carlos Alcaraz.

He shows his own skill at the net with a drop-volley that Humbert struggles to reach.

Still on serve in the second.

You can sense that Madison Keys is really on the edge right now, she is trying desperately to hold her serve and stay in front in that set.

She has been trying to find the solution and slow down the pace, but she is forcing too much.

Madison Keys holds on after four deuces and a saved break point. It prevented Jasmine Paolini breaking for a third game in a row.

The energy that the Italian is bringing though is palpable. I'll have whatever she's having.

The seventh seed will serve to stay in the set and take us to a tie-break.

An encouraging start to the second set for Ugo Humbert but he can't turn it into a break.

The Frenchman went up 0-30 and might rue an unforced error at 15-30 as he sent a backhand wide.

He still takes it to deuce but Carlos Alcaraz serves and volleys to get to advantage and sees it through from there.

Carlos Alcaraz's movement is as good as I have ever seen.

He'll get even better with experience, he's been around for such a short around of time.

Alcaraz's forehand is just an absolute rocket.
