Henman Hill has just spotted itself on the big screen and that's brought out the flags - loads of Spanish ones and the odd red, blue and white of Serbia.

There's a party atmosphere on the grass and those on the slope are celebrating a little louder with every point.

Novak understands how good Alcaraz is from the back of the court and he's trying to mix it up.

If Alcaraz stays healthy then he'll go down as one of the best to ever play the game, that's for sure. Who's going to stop him?

A well-cushioned volley at the net from Djokovic. As always, Carlos Alcaraz is in hot pursuit of the ball and almost gets there, but not this time.

That helps Djokovic to a hold as he's already matched his game total from set one.

That perfect volley comes during a pretty perfect hour of tennis for Carlos Alcaraz. He gets the hold and he is a set and a break up in the Wimbledon final in a packed Centre Court.

Novak Djokovic has had better hours. He will be hoping hour two goes better than hour one. If it doesn't, this one could be all over by a quarter past four.

    *Alcaraz 6-2 2-1 Djokovic

    Marion Bartoli
Former Wimbledon champion on BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Sounds

This match reminds me so much of the US Open final that Novak played for the calendar Slam [against Daniil Medvedev in 2021]. He just looks spent, the emotions are too high for him. He spoke of there being too much on the line for him and it was too much pressure for him to handle.

  9. 'Hardly a flicker of emotion'published at 15:09 British Summer Time 14 July

Even with this dreadful start, there's hardly been a flicker of emotion from Novak Djokovic.

It is a repeat of the first set, where Carlos Alcaraz was looking for a double break at the second Djokovic service game.

Djokovic won the third game of the first set to get on the board and has won the third game of the second set to slow the Alcaraz momentum.

Could that just be a turning point? A slight bounce in the Djokovic steps, which we've not seen for a while, as he jogs back to his chair.

Not this time for Djokovic though. Djokovic got to deuce but not further and then the game ended when, up and close to the net on the left side of the court, he could only send a cross-court attempt wide right.

  19. Henman Hill in disbeliefpublished at 15:00 British Summer Time 14 July

    *Alcaraz 6-2 1-0 Djokovic

    Joe Rindl
    BBC Sport at Wimbledon

Henman Hill is pretty much fully behind Carlos Alcaraz for this one and there was a proper roar when the Spaniard took the first set.

It's matched when he breaks again at the start of the second. Even the biggest Carlos dreamers can't believe this start.

It's completely uncharacteristic from Djokovic. He never, ever gives you a free point on your second serve.
