As the UK basks in its third heatwave of the summer, the north-east of England and Cumbria has seen a mix of bright sunny days followed by sudden, heavy thunderstorms this season.
Our Weather Watchers have been capturing the fast-changing weather.
Here are some of our favourites.

All manner of creatures enjoyed a spell of sunshine in Sunderland
