Social care: 'We need both systems to work'
There is to be a complete overhaul of the way care for elderly and disabled people is provided in England.
The Department of Health says all parts of the country will have to integrate NHS and adult social care services within five years, to ensure people get the help they need with tasks such as washing and dressing.
The Director of Policy for Carers UK, Emily Holzhausen, believes both systems need to "work together much more efficiently."
