Tina Daheley and Chris Smith will be hosting a live Radio 1 and 1Xtra debate in Leeds with 100 young voters on Tuesday night to try to find out.
They'll be discussing whether the political system represents young people.
Taking part in the audience debate will be: Sam Gyimah (Conservative), Sadiq Khan (Labour), Sal Brinton (Liberal Democrats), Mhairi Black (SNP) and Rhun ap Iorwerth (Plaid Cymru).
You'll be able to listen to the programme live on Tuesday at 21:00 BST on Radio 1, 1Xtra and BBC Radio Leeds.
You can also watch the debate live on the BBC News Channel and it's repeated at 23:20 BST on BBC Two.
On 21 April, Newsbeat will be live in Birmingham discussing young people's views on immigration, the NHS and education.
On 28 April, Newsbeat will be live in Edinburgh discussing young people's views on the economy.
