Rebekah Brooks: 'Frequent contact with Blair'

The former chief executive of News International, Rebekah Brooks, has told the Leveson Inquiry she had frequent contact with Tony Blair when she became editor of the Sun.

She said she spoke to him often over a landline because he did not have a mobile phone and did not use a computer when he was prime minister. She said they also became friends.
