Leveson Inquiry: Sun has close interaction with readers

Rebekah Brooks, the former chief executive of News International, has been giving evidence at the Leveson Inquiry into press ethics.

Mrs Brooks resigned last year after the phone-hacking scandal led to the closure of the News of the World.

Mrs Brooks has denied any knowledge of phone hacking on her watch.

She told Lord Justice Leveson the Sun had a close interaction with its readers, calling the Sun postroom legendary, with all mail looked at.
