Lord Patten: BBC needs radical overhaul and fewer managers

The BBC chairman, Lord Patten, has said the BBC needs a thorough and radical overhaul following the resignation of the Director General, George Entwistle.

Speaking to Andrew Marr, Mr Patten suggested the overhaul would look at the number of managers and their responsibilities.
