Sperm donor mother on making her decision to have children

A national sperm bank charged with reversing a growing shortage of donor sperm is opening at Birmingham Women's Hospital.

The number of UK-based sperm donors has been increasing since 2004 but demand has increased even faster.

Denmark and the United States have become major suppliers of sperm to British women.

Abi is a single mum whose one-year-old twins, Winnie and Florence, were born after IVF using donated sperm from Denmark.

She told BBC Breakfast why she came to her decision and how she plans to tell the girls about their conception.
