Care home residents react to robot pets
A care home has introduced responsive robot pets to provide comfort to their residents.
Willowcroft care home in Spondon, Derby, said the robotic pets are “comforting” and “realistic”.
University of Plymouth research, external has shown robotic companions can potentially enhance the wellbeing of care home residents and people with dementia.
