Soldier silhouettes installed in Remembrance tribute

Twelve silhouettes of veterans have been installed in a Salford park to mark Remembrance weekend.

The figures, located at the veterans memorial park in Swinton, represent all areas of the Armed forces.

Glenn Croston of Salford Veterans Association said it was important to remember "those that have gone before us, those that have served and those that have died in service".

He hoped young people would see the installation and "carry this on in the future when we are no longer around".
