Weir fish pass helps salmon swim up the River Tone

Young salmon have been found in the River Tone in Somerset for the first time in 20 years after the Environment Agency repaired a special fish pass.

BBC reporter Clinton Rogers spoke to Richard Dearnley from the Environment Agency about how helping the fish to cross the weir has led to an increase in salmon numbers.

Conservationist Gwilym Wrenn said it showed the natural environment was "clean, healthy and functioning".
