PMQs: Cameron and Miliband on bedroom and mansion 'taxes'

The "prime minister's bedroom tax" means servicemen will not have a room to come home to when they return to the UK, the Labour leader has claimed.

Ed Miliband said a constituent with twin sons in the army could no longer afford to keep a house with rooms for them.

But David Cameron said Labour opposed the government's plans to build more homes and every change to the welfare budget, claiming "all he can ever do is spend more money".

They also clashed about the so-called mansion tax, before Mr Miliband accused the prime minister of being "weak, incompetent and totally out of touch".

Mr Cameron accused him of speaking "totally pathetic pre-scripted rubbish" and teased the Labour over links to the trade unions.
