EU vote: Eurosceptic Peter Bone points finger at Lib Dems
More than 100 Conservative MPs have shown their opposition to the government's tactics over Europe.
They backed an amendment to the Queen's Speech, tabled by Eurosceptic Tories Peter Bone and John Barron, in a House of Commons vote.
Tory ministers abstained but the amendment was defeated as the Lib Dems and Labour joined forces to oppose it.
Mr Bone said he wanted the Liberal Democrats to explain why they were blocking it.
He added that the vote showed that the Conservatives clearly wanted an in-out referendum.
