House of Commons 'bullying' towards Julian Huppert MP

An MP described the "absolutely hideous" and "clearly inappropriate" bullying behaviour he has received in the House of Commons, but added he would "keep on going".

Liberal Democrat Julian Huppert said it "happens to lots of people, it's me at the moment," and how some MPs were responsible for "sexist behaviour, a lot of deeply rude behaviour", and some chose not take part because of it.

Labour MP Lisa Nandy described the scenes in PMQs as a "national embarrassment" and showed the "worst of politics". But Conservative MP James Wharton disagreed and said "the theatre of parliament is not a bad thing".

The trio debated behaviour in PMQs after they watched clips of Dr Huppert being jeered in the Commons.
