UKIP leader Nigel Farage: I did not bottle by-election
Nigel Farage is facing criticism from his political opponents over his decision not to stand as a candidate in the Newark by-election.
The Conservatives said he had "burst the UKIP bubble" and Labour accused Mr Farage of "bottling it" because he knew he would not win.
But the UKIP leader said he would not contest the Newark constituency, arguing he would look like an "opportunist".
