Nick Clegg: Net immigration targets 'make no sense'
The Deputy Prime Minister, Nick Clegg, says he believes students should not be counted in the immigration figures.
The Conservative peer, Lord Heseltine, has called for students to be excluded from immigration figures to prevent damage to university finances and maintain the "life-long goodwill" the UK gets from foreign graduates.
Questioned during a visit to India, Mr Clegg said he agrees with Lord Heseltine.
