Labour conference: Miliband defends speech omissions

The Labour leader Ed Miliband has insisted the economy is "incredibly high" on his list of priorities.

He was responding to criticism that he forgot the section of his conference speech that dealt with the budget deficit.

The Chancellor, George Osborne, said the lapse was extraordinary.
