Tory conference: Cameron impersonates teenage Hague speech

David Cameron impersonated a former party leader's famous speech to the 1977 Tory conference as a child.

The prime minister recalled how a teenage William Hague read Hansaard in bed and owned one Dire Straits record, but went on to become "our greatest living Yorkshireman".

Mr Hague is standing down at the next general election, and Mr Cameron told the 2014 conference that he owed the former foreign secretary "an enormous debt of gratitude".
