Ed Miliband: 'Theresa May has explaining to do'

Ed Miliband has welcomed Fiona Woolf's resignation as chair of the inquiry into historic sexual abuse.

Mrs Woolf stepped down before the inquiry had got under way after failing to command the confidence of victims.

Victims' groups had been calling for her resignation saying they would not co-operate with the inquiry under her leadership.

Mr Miliband said Home Secretary Theresa May had "some explaining to do" over the whole process.
