Labour: McBride on letter calling for Miliband to quit
A former Gordon Brown adviser has described the mood in the Labour Party as "pretty black", with rank paranoia and invented plots in Ed Miliband's office.
Damian McBride was speaking to Andrew Neil on the Daily Politics as reports emerged of a letter calling for the leader to quit.
He said: "I think the mood is pretty black in Labour. And certainly since party conference the mood has got blacker."
